Swiggy Instamart partners with YISU to train over 5,000 youths for quick commerce jobs in Telangana
Young India Skills University (YISU) and Swiggy’s quick commerce arm Instamart have entered into a multi-year partnership to launch a skill-based academic programme aimed at preparing youth for careers in the fast-growing quick commerce sector. Under an MoU, the collaboration is expected to train more than 5,000 youths in Telangana. The MoU was signed in the presence of YISU Vice-Chancellor V.L.V.S.S. Subba Rao and Swiggy Ltd Chief Human Resources Officer Girish Menon. As part of the partnership, Instamart, along with Scootsy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiggy and its logistics arm, will work with Young India Skills University to roll out a three-month learning programme focused on building job-relevant operational and managerial capabilities for the quick commerce industry. IPO-bound digital healthcare platform Practo has launched its care navigation platform in the United States, marking its most significant international expansion to date after an earlier entry into the UAE last year . The company said it has listed over 200,000 doctors across specialties in the US and reached an annualised gross merchandise value (GMV) run rate of more than $75 million. Monthly active users have crossed 300,000, with overall traffic in the US growing nearly six-fold since April 2025. Practo said early adoption has been strongest in dental and mental health, where more than 500 doctors across over 150 clinics, hospitals and independent practices are already monetised through paid subscriptions.
