The team

Two founders.
One ID for everyone.

Kaam is built in Mumbai by people who spent twenty years making things Indians use every day: consumer internet, delivery, operations at scale. They now think the most useful thing they can build is an identity for work, and a set of tools that treats a shop of four like a company of four thousand.

Founder & CEO

Rishi Khiani

Twenty years building India's consumer internet. Now building its workforce.

Rishi founded Scootsy, one of India's first premium delivery platforms, later acquired by Swiggy. Before that he ran digital businesses at Times Internet and Network18, and through Antfarm and Fork Media he incubated consumer ventures including Curly Tales and Mashable India.

He has spent his working life in the middle of India's consumer market, and came to believe its largest unsolved problem is also its simplest: most people who work in India cannot prove it. Kaam is the fix he wanted to exist.

"We are not here to reinvent everything. We are here to connect what exists, and make it work for the people who need it most."

Cofounder & COO

Agnelo Miranda

If it does not work on the ground, it does not work.

Agnelo has spent the last decade building service and logistics operations that run at scale. He was part of Scootsy's founding team, where he built last-mile delivery, quality and the operational machine behind it. He led logistics at Hamilton, cofounded Refresh Car Care, and has worked across reverse logistics, digital payments and field-force coordination.

At Kaam he owns the part that touches the ground: verification, onboarding, the stickers on the glass, and the partners who run programmes with us every week.

"Kaam is about getting the details right, every day, for people who have been let down by details before."

03 · And Kai

The third member never sleeps.

Kai is the AI inside Kaam. He hears a five-minute story and writes the CV. He answers on WhatsApp in Hinglish at eleven at night. He remembers your name, your trade and your city, and he tells the founders, daily, what people actually asked for.

The network

Two people do not put an ID in every hand. A network does.

We build the platform. Our partners carry it into their worlds. Every one of them makes the ID worth more to the next person who claims it.

01

Employers who open doors, from a forty-cover kitchen to a hotel group.

02

Trade bodies and corporates who bring a whole vertical with them: NRAI for hospitality, Mahindra through Kaabil.

03

Skilling partners and NSDC whose certificates land on the ID as something an employer can read.

04

Foundations and policymakers who want a programme to end in a job, and can now see whether it did.
