What the extension reads, and what it keeps.
1. What it does
When you press the Kaam button on a job application page, the extension reads the form on that page (the field labels, their types and the options in drop-downs) and the page's text, sends them to kaam.com together with the page address, and kaam.com answers with what should go where from your Kaam ID: your details, your work history, the CV fitted to that job, and drafted answers to open questions. You see the whole list before anything is filled, you can edit any answer, and you press the site's own Submit button yourself.
2. What it reads on a job page, and only when you press the button
- The form fields: their labels, names, types, placeholders and drop-down options. Never the values already typed in them.
- The page's visible text (the first few thousand characters), so Kaam can name the job and company, draft answers that fit, and check the page for the signs of a job scam.
- The page address and title.
It reads nothing on pages where you do not press the button. It has no permission to read all sites: it works only on the tab where you clicked, that one time.
3. What it sends to kaam.com

Kaam.com receives these over HTTPS with your own connection token. Kaam does not sell or share this data, and never sends it to the job site or to anyone else.
4. What it keeps in your browser
- A connection token for your Kaam account, valid 30 days on that browser. It is minted on kaam.com when you are already signed in there, so no password is ever typed into the extension. Disconnect by removing the extension; the token also expires by itself after 30 days, and care@kaam.com revokes it on request.
- A copy of the site recipes (which field is which on common job sites), refreshed daily from kaam.com. Data only, no code.
5. What it never does
- Never presses Submit or Apply. The last click is always yours.
- Never fills a password, OTP, PIN, CVV, card, UPI, bank, Aadhaar or PAN number, or any fee or payment field. If a page asks you to pay to get work, the panel says so and refuses those fields.
- Never invents. Every value comes from your Kaam profile. Where Kaam does not know, the row says so and waits for you.
- Never reads your browsing history, other tabs, or a page you did not press the button on.
- Never tracks you across sites. There are no advertising trackers in the extension.
6. Permissions, and why

7. Your choices
- Change any of the six facts from the panel the next time a form asks. To remove them, or a saved answer, write to care@kaam.com.
- Remove the extension from your browser. The token expires after 30 days, or on request.
- Ask for your data or its deletion under the Kaam privacy policy: write to care@kaam.com.
8. Changes
If what the extension reads or keeps changes, this page changes first, with the date at the top.
