Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie with experience in Mexican & Italian cuisine to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Mexican & Italian dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Independently manage the assigned kitchen section.
- Prepare mise en place, sauces, salsas, marinades and other preparations.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality and presentation.
- Ensure proper food storage and hygiene.
- Monitor stock and communicate requirements to the kitchen management.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain portion control.
- Ensure timely preparation during busy service.
- Assist in training and supervising Commis Chefs.
- Follow all food safety and kitchen SOPs.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Mexican/Latin & Italian cuisine experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Mexican ingredients and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
