Stores & Inventory Management

Manage daily stores operations, including receipt, storage, identification, and issuance of raw materials, components, consumables, and finished goods.

Ensure proper material inward and outward documentation, including GRN, material issue slips, stock registers, and delivery challans.

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock matches ERP/system records.

Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counting, and periodic physical stock audits.

Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with Purchase and Production Planning & Control (PPC) for material availability.

Ensure proper storage, labelling, identification, traceability, and preservation of materials.

Prevent material shortages, excess inventory, damage, and stock discrepancies.

Dispatch & Logistics Management

Plan and coordinate daily dispatches of finished goods according to customer delivery schedules.

Coordinate with Sales, PPC, Quality, Production, and Accounts to ensure timely and accurate dispatches.

Verify customer orders, part numbers, quantities, packaging, and dispatch documents before shipment.

Ensure preparation and verification of delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, packing lists, and other applicable documents.

Arrange vehicles and coordinate with transporters to ensure on-time delivery.

Monitor pending orders, dispatch schedules, vehicle planning, and delivery status.

Ensure proper packaging, loading, and safe handling of fasteners and finished goods.

Maintain dispatch records and report delays, shortages, and discrepancies to management.

Team & Process Management

Supervise stores and dispatch staff, including storekeepers, helpers, and loading personnel.

Allocate manpower and monitor daily work activities and productivity.

Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Sales, PPC, and Accounts for smooth material flow.

Implement FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable and maintain organized storage locations.

Ensure housekeeping, 5S, safety practices, and proper use of storage equipment.

Identify process gaps and implement improvements to improve inventory accuracy and dispatch efficiency.

MIS & Reporting

Prepare daily and monthly reports on stock levels, material movement, pending dispatches, and inventory discrepancies.

Track dispatch performance, delivery schedules, stock ageing, and inventory accuracy.

Maintain proper documentation for audits and management reviews.

Provide regular updates to management regarding critical stock, shortages, pending orders, and dispatch delays.
