Job Description: General Duty Assistant (GDA) – Ambulance Services
Job Title: General Duty Assistant (GDA)
Department: Emergency Medical Services
Job Location: Domlur & BTR layout
Salary: ₹18,000–₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)
Duty Hours: 8-hour rotational shifts, including night shifts

Job Responsibilities

Assist EMTs and paramedics during ambulance operations and patient transportation.

Help patients board and exit the ambulance safely using stretchers or wheelchairs.

Provide basic patient care and support during emergency transportation.

Monitor patient comfort and immediately report any changes in condition to the EMT or medical team.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation inside the ambulance.

Assist in handling and arranging basic medical equipment and supplies.

Support patient transfers between hospitals, homes, and other healthcare facilities.

Follow infection control protocols and emergency safety procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: GDA certification or relevant healthcare training preferred.
Experience: Prior hospital or ambulance experience is an advantage.

Good communication and patient-handling skills.

Physically fit to assist with patient lifting and transfers.

Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights.

Must be responsible, punctual, and comfortable working in emergency situations.
