Job Description

Sunil Construction Co. is looking for a skilled and result-oriented Purchase Executive with relevant experience in the building construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for procurement of construction materials, vendor management, price negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement of construction materials, equipment, tools, and consumables.

Source and develop vendors and suppliers for construction-related requirements.

Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices and payment terms.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and store personnel to ensure timely material availability.

Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records and documentation.

Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery schedules.

Monitor material quality, pricing, and compliance with approved specifications.

Ensure purchases are within approved budgets and company procurement policies.

Maintain vendor databases, purchase reports, and pending order statements.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and build long-term supplier relationships.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 3 years of experience in purchase or procurement within the construction industry.

Candidates with experience in high-rise building construction will be preferred.

Good knowledge of construction materials such as cement, steel, RMC, sand, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and coordination skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

Candidates must be based in Mumbai or willing to work in Mumbai.

A graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
