Job Description – Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Purpose

To ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall maintenance of the cinema premises by effectively managing housekeeping staff and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management

Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, including housekeeping attendants.
Allocate daily duties and responsibilities as per operational requirements.
Monitor staff attendance, grooming, punctuality, and discipline.
Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower deployment.

Housekeeping Operations

Ensure cleanliness of auditoriums, lobby, washrooms, food courts, and other common areas.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Ensure timely cleaning before, during, and after movie shows.
Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure proper execution.

Inventory & Material Management

Maintain housekeeping stock and cleaning materials.
Ensure optimum utilisation of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Maintain proper records of material consumption and stock requirements.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and housekeeping SOPs.
Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Maintain housekeeping checklists and inspection records.
Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with the Operations Manager for daily housekeeping requirements.
Address customer complaints related to cleanliness.
Report maintenance issues and operational challenges.
Share daily housekeeping updates and reports with management.

Required Skills

Good leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities.
Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals and cleaning equipment.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage manpower effectively.
Attention to detail and hygiene standards.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: Graduate.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision.
Experience in malls, hotels, cinemas, or hospitality operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
