JOB DESCRIPTION – SERVICE ENGINEER Freshers Can Apply B.Tech Mechanical Engineering HYDRO MECHANIC TRANSMISSION INDIA PVT. LTD. (HMTI) Position: Service Engineer – Hydraulic Systems & Power Packs Department: Service & Maintenance Qualification: B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can apply. Job Responsibilities: Installation, commissioning and servicing of hydraulic power packs. Inspection, troubleshooting and maintenance of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and cylinders. Testing and performance evaluation of hydraulic pumps using hydraulic test benches. Understanding hydraulic circuit diagrams and technical drawings. Identification of hydraulic system problems and providing suitable technical solutions. Handling customer complaints and providing on-site technical support. Dismantling, inspection, assembly and testing of hydraulic pumps and motors. Preparation of service reports, inspection reports and maintenance records. Supporting preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities. Coordinating with the production, quality and service departments. Maintaining service tools, equipment and workshop cleanliness. Following safety procedures during servicing, testing and commissioning. 2. Candidate Requirements: B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ is mandatory. Freshers are also welcome to apply. Willingness to travel to customer locations anywhere in India. Strong interest in learning hydraulic technology. Willingness to gain technical knowledge and develop new skills. Ability to work under challenging conditions and in any work situation. Positive attitude and good communication skills. Willingness to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer knowledge and report-writing skills. Good problem-solving and analytical abilities. 3. Technical Knowledge – Preferred Hydraulic pumps and motors. Hydraulic valves and cylinders. Hydraulic power pack systems. Hydraulic pressure, flow and leakage testing. Hydraulic circuit diagrams. Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge. Knowledge of Rexroth and Enerpac products will be an added advantage. 4. Training & Career DevelopmentHMTI will provide practical technical training in: Hydraulic pump servicing and testing. Hydraulic power pack manufacturing and commissioning. Hydraulic test bench operation. Rexroth and Enerpac hydraulic products. Troubleshooting and customer-site servicing. Freshers will receive opportunities to develop into independent Service Engineers through practical training and field experience. 5.
