Key Responsibilities

• Nursing care of premature, low-birth-weight and high-risk newborns
• Continuous monitoring of NICU patients and vital parameters
• Assist Neonatologists / Pediatricians during procedures and emergencies
• Medication administration as per consultant orders
• Care of newborns requiring oxygen, CPAP and ventilatory support
• Feeding, temperature maintenance and infection-prevention practices
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts and NICU documentation
• Follow strict infection-control, patient-safety and NABH protocols
• Promptly identify and escalate any deterioration in the newborn’s condition
