Monitor and implement infection prevention and control (IPC) practices across departments.

Conduct regular infection-control rounds and audits in ICU, wards, OT, OPD, etc.

Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, PPE usage, and standard precautions.

Track and report healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).

Monitor sterilization, disinfection, biomedical waste management, and environmental hygiene.

Conduct infection-control training and awareness sessions for nurses, doctors, housekeeping and other staff.

Assist in outbreak investigation and infection-control measures when required.

Monitor isolation precautions for patients with infectious conditions.

Maintain infection-control records, reports, checklists and documentation.

Coordinate with the Infection Control Committee and hospital departments.

Ensure compliance with applicable hospital infection-control policies, protocols and accreditation standards.

Participate in surveillance, data analysis and corrective/preventive actions related to infection control.
