About The Design Band

The Design Band is a spatial design agency specialising in exhibition design, retail environments, corporate interiors and experiential spaces. We create brand-led physical experiences that combine creativity, functionality and strong visual communication.

Role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development & Marketing Manager to help grow our client base and generate new business opportunities across exhibitions, retail, interiors and experiential design.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business leads and opportunities.

Build relationships with brands, corporates, architects, agencies and exhibition organisers.

Reach out to prospective clients through calls, email, LinkedIn and networking.

Understand client requirements and coordinate with the design team to develop proposals.

Manage client communication, follow-ups and the business pipeline.

Support marketing activities, presentations, case studies and brand visibility.

Track upcoming exhibitions, retail projects and other relevant opportunities.

Develop long-term client relationships and generate repeat business.

Ideal Candidate

2–6 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales or client servicing, preferably in design, architecture, interiors, exhibitions or retail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Confident in client meetings, networking and follow-ups.

Strong interest in design, brands and physical spaces.

Proactive, target-oriented and comfortable working independently.
