PERSON SPECIFICATION

Any Degree with relevant experience in handling store operations of construction company. 1-2 year experience.

JOB ROLE

A storekeeper in a construction company is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing materials, as well as maintaining accurate records.

Receiving and inspecting goods

Inspect shipments for defects and ensure proper documentation.

Storing and issuing materials

Stack, store, and issue materials to the construction site.

Maintaining records

Maintain log books, entry and exit registers, and delivery and dispatch registers.

Inventory management

Develop and manage materials planning functions, and create item forecasts.

Documentation

Ensure indents are raised and proper documentation is completed for requisition of items.
