Job Description
Kovai Study Abroad Consultants is hiring Student Counsellors for our Coimbatore office.
We are looking for candidates with good English communication skills who are interested in developing a career in the Study Abroad and Overseas Education industry.
Freshers are welcome to apply. Complete training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students about overseas education opportunities.
Understand students' academic background, career goals, and study preferences.
Guide students in selecting suitable countries, universities, and courses.
Explain admission requirements and application procedures.
Follow up with prospective students through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
Communicate professionally with students and parents.
Assist students throughout the admission and application process.
Maintain accurate records of student enquiries and follow-ups.
Coordinate with the admissions and application processing team.
Work towards student enrolment and admission targets.
Candidate Requirements
Good English speaking and communication skills.
Good interpersonal and counselling skills.
Ability to communicate confidently with students and parents.
Basic computer knowledge.
Willingness to learn about overseas universities, courses, admissions, and visa processes.
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Previous experience in student counselling, education consultancy, admissions, telecalling, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
Salary
₹13,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, communication skills, and relevant knowledge.
