Job Title: Reservation Manager & F&B Captain (Front of House)
Location: Mumbai Only
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 2–5 years in hospitality/F&B service, with at least 1 year handling guest reservations or front desk

About the Role

We're looking for a hospitality professional who can wear two hats: leading our floor as an F&B Captain during service, and owning our reservation desk — especially on weekends when booking volume peaks. This is ideal for someone who enjoys both guest-facing service leadership and the operational side of managing covers, tables, and guest communication.

Key Responsibilities

Asst. Reservation Management (primarily weekends & peak days)

Manage all incoming reservations via phone, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and any booking platforms

Maintain the reservation diary/table plan and optimize seating for cover flow

Confirm bookings, manage waitlists, and handle special requests (birthdays, large groups, dietary needs)

Coordinate with the floor team on VIP guests, repeat guests, and large parties

F&B Captain (day-to-day floor operations)

Lead a section of the restaurant floor — supervise servers, ensure service standards

Take orders for key/VIP tables, guide guests through menu and recommendations

Handle guest feedback and resolve on-the-spot service issues

Coordinate with kitchen on ticket timing and course pacing

Train and mentor junior FOH staff

Requirements

Prior experience as a Captain, Team Leader, or Guest Relations Executive in a restaurant/hotel

Comfortable managing a reservation system/diary (manual or software — training provided)

Strong communication skills, presentable, guest-first attitude

Willing to work weekends and peak service hours (this is central to the role — say so upfront)

Basic English + [local language] communication
