Job Summary

DES-TECH ACADEMY is looking for a motivated and communication-oriented Telecaller Executive to join our admissions and counselling team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to contact prospective students, understand their career and course requirements, provide accurate information about our training programmes, follow up with interested candidates, and convert qualified enquiries into course admissions.

The successful candidate should be confident in speaking with students and parents, capable of explaining course benefits clearly, and comfortable working towards admission and conversion targets.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to prospective students and follow up on enquiries received through various channels.

Understand the candidate's educational background, career interests and training requirements.

Explain DES-TECH ACADEMY's courses, eligibility, duration, fees, curriculum, career opportunities and admission process clearly and accurately.

Counsel prospective students and help them identify suitable courses based on their interests and career goals.

Follow up regularly with interested candidates through telephone and appropriate communication channels.

Handle candidate questions and objections professionally and provide relevant information.

Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed course admissions.

Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, enquiries and admissions in the CRM or designated records.

Achieve assigned daily, weekly and monthly calling and admission targets.

Coordinate with the Course Counselling, Academic and Admission teams when required.

Maintain professional communication and a positive relationship with prospective students.

Provide regular updates to the reporting manager regarding enquiries, follow-ups and conversions.

Ability to understand a candidate's requirements and explain suitable course options.

Customer-focused and professional approach.

Ability to handle objections and follow up consistently.

Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office, WhatsApp and email.

Ability to work towards measurable targets.

Willingness to learn about DES-TECH ACADEMY's courses and career-oriented training programmes.

Educational Qualification

Any Graduate can apply.

Candidates with good communication skills and an interest in admissions, counselling, telecalling or inside sales are encouraged to apply.

Experience

Freshers with good communication skills are welcome.

Prior experience in telecalling, educational counselling, admissions, inside sales, customer service or a similar role will be an advantage.

Compensation and Incentives

Fixed monthly salary.

Attractive performance-based incentives in addition to the monthly salary.

Additional incentives may be linked to successful course admissions and achievement of defined targets.

Salary and incentive structure will be explained during the selection process.
