Job Summary

Nevisun Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced API Purchase / Procurement Executive with 1–4 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in API procurement and vendor sourcing.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in API supplier identification, quotation/RFQ management, price negotiation, purchase orders, vendor coordination, and procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end API purchase and procurement activities.

Source and identify reliable API manufacturers and suppliers.

Obtain and compare quotations, including price, MOQ, lead time and payment terms.

Negotiate with suppliers regarding price, commercial terms, delivery schedules and availability.

Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).

Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery of APIs.

Maintain and update the API supplier/vendor database.

Coordinate with QA/QC/Regulatory and other internal teams for required API documentation.

Follow up for documents such as COA, GMP certificates, MSDS and other required quality documents.

Monitor purchase orders, pending requirements and delivery status.

Evaluate and maintain supplier relationships.

Support procurement activities while ensuring compliance with company quality and documentation requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–4 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical API Purchase / Procurement.

Experience in API sourcing and vendor management is mandatory/preferred.

Good understanding of pharmaceutical APIs and procurement processes.

Experience in RFQ, quotation comparison, price negotiation, MOQ and lead-time management.

Good vendor communication and negotiation skills.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical procurement documentation and quality requirements.

Good coordination and follow-up skills.

Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Candidates from a pharmaceutical procurement/purchase background will be preferred.
