Job Summary

Lake Palace is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and result-oriented Sales \& Marketing Executive to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to build strong client relationships and generate new business opportunities.

Experienced candidates are preferred; however, freshers with a strong passion for Sales \& Marketing, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities for the hotel through active sales and marketing.
• Visit corporate companies, travel agencies, tour operators, event planners, wedding planners, and other potential clients.
• Conduct outdoor sales calls, client visits, property visits, presentations, and business meetings.
• Promote hotel rooms, restaurants, banquets, conferences, weddings, and other hotel facilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate and other business clients.
• Generate leads and convert enquiries into confirmed business.
• Follow up on enquiries, proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Work towards achieving assigned sales targets.
• Explore new markets and identify potential business opportunities.
• Participate in exhibitions, networking events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with various hotel departments to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
• Maintain an updated database of clients and business contacts.
• Prepare sales reports and maintain records of sales activities.
• Support digital marketing and social media promotional activities when required.

Important Requirement – Outdoor Marketing

Candidates must be willing to travel and go out for marketing activities, client visits, sales calls, and business development.

This is an active Sales \& Marketing role and is not limited to desk or office-based work. Candidates should be comfortable meeting clients in person, developing new business contacts, and representing Lake Palace Thiruvananthapuram professionally in the market.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Freshers with passion and a strong interest in Sales \& Marketing are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality, business development, or marketing will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Willingness to travel locally for outdoor marketing, sales calls, and client meetings.
• Target-oriented and proactive approach.
• Good negotiation and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media will be an advantage.
