Job Title: Academic Counselor / Admission Counselor Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh Job Type: Full-time Job SummaryWe are seeking an energetic, persuasive, and empathetic Academic Counselor / Admission Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will interact with prospective students and parents, guide them on academic programs and career pathways, and facilitate the admission process from initial query to final enrollment. Key Responsibilities Counseling & Guidance: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with prospective students and parents to evaluate their academic needs, career goals, and match them with suitable courses/programs. Lead Conversion & Sales: Handle incoming walk-ins, phone calls, and web inquiries promptly. Follow up systematically with potential leads to drive course admissions and achieve monthly/quarterly recruitment targets. Admission Administration: Assist students through the complete enrollment procedure, including document verification, application completion, and fee structure guidance. Product Knowledge: Stay thoroughly updated on curriculum details, program outcomes, fee options, discount policies, and career opportunities for all offered courses. Database & CRM Management: Maintain precise records of inquiries, follow-up status, student feedback, and conversion metrics in the internal system/CRM. Events & Outreach: Represent the institution during educational fairs, workshops, seminars, and campus open houses to enhance outreach. Key Skills & Competencies Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Interpersonal Skills: Strong active listening, empathy, and ability to build trust with parents and students. Persuasion & Negotiation: Convincing personality with proven counseling or educational sales experience. Organizational Ability: Multitasking, prompt follow-ups, and meticulous record-keeping. Eligibility Criteria Education: Graduation degree in any discipline (Bachelor's degree minimum). Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in academic counseling, student relations, telecalling, or admission sales in educational institutions/coaching institutes (Freshers with strong communication may also apply). Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software).
