Key Responsibilities
Type and prepare radiology reports based on the radiologist's voice recordings/dictation.
Accurately transcribe reports for X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, etc.
Ensure correct spelling, medical terminology, patient details, and report formatting.
Coordinate with radiologists for report corrections or clarifications.
Maintain confidentiality of patient and medical information.
Ensure reports are completed and released within the required TAT.
Upload/update reports in the RIS/HIS/PACS or diagnostic software.
Maintain proper records and follow departmental SOPs.
Coordinate with front office and other departments whenever required.
Required Skills
Good typing speed and accuracy.
Knowledge of medical terminology, especially radiology terms.
Good English grammar and communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple reports.
Prior experience in a diagnostic centre/hospital is preferred.
- Experience
- 1–3 years preferred; candidates with relevant hospital/diagnostic experience can be considered.
