Job Summary
We are looking for a Purchase Executive to join our Supply Chain/Procurement team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of mechanical and electronic components, tools, and services while ensuring the right quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end procurement of mechanical/electronic components, tools, and services.
Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) using SAP or other ERP systems.
Identify, source, and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and reliability.
Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Design, and other internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
Monitor inventory and stock levels and initiate procurement to prevent material shortages.
Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and quality issues.
Maintain updated supplier/vendor records and documentation.
Track supplier performance and support vendor evaluation activities.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and processes.
Prepare and maintain procurement reports and basic data analysis using MS Excel.
Required Skills
Hands-on experience with SAP or ERP procurement systems.
Knowledge of mechanical and electronic components.
Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic data analysis.
Understanding of procurement and purchasing processes in manufacturing/engineering industries.
Good follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility / Requirements
BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
1–3 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering company is preferred.
Candidates with experience in sourcing engineering components and working with vendors will be preferred.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
