Key Responsibilities:-

• Ensure compliance with applicable fire, health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Conduct regular safety inspections and hazard identification throughout the plant.

• Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor safe operation of production processes, utilities, and material handling activities.

• Inspect and maintain firefighting systems, fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency equipment.

• Organize fire drills, emergency response exercises, and evacuation procedures.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports with corrective actions.

• Conduct safety induction and awareness training for employees and contractors.

• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety procedures.

• Monitor hot work, confined space entry, work at height, electrical safety, and permit-to-work systems.

• Maintain statutory records, safety documentation, inspection reports, and compliance registers.

• Support environmental management by monitoring waste handling, chemical storage, and pollution control practices.

• Promote continuous improvement through safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and employee engagement.

Compliance \& Governance:-

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits.

Educational Qualification:-

Essential

• Graduate with degree / diploma in Safety Management.

Preferred

• DIS / DFS

Experience:-
