Maintenance Technician (ITI Fresher)

Key Responsibilities

Assist in routine inspection and maintenance of hospital buildings, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility equipment.

Perform basic repair and maintenance tasks under the supervision of senior technicians.

Attend and respond to maintenance requests from various hospital departments.

Support preventive maintenance schedules for hospital infrastructure and utility systems.

Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.

Assist in maintaining maintenance logs, checklists, and service records.

Follow hospital safety policies, infection control protocols, and fire safety guidelines.

Ensure proper use and care of maintenance tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Coordinate with vendors and service engineers during maintenance activities when required.

Support emergency maintenance work during breakdowns or utility failures.

Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification

ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), Plumbing, or a related technical trade.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or building maintenance.

Willingness to learn and adapt to hospital maintenance procedures.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.

Working Conditions

Hospital environment with rotational shifts.

Use of appropriate PPE and adherence to hospital safety protocols at all times.

Pay

₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
