Job Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end purchase activities for raw materials, components, consumables and engineering items.

Source and evaluate suitable vendors and suppliers.

Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.

Prepare Purchase Orders and ensure timely procurement.

Follow up with vendors for delivery schedules and material availability.

Coordinate with PPC, Production, Stores, QA/QC and Accounts departments.

Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, cost and delivery.

Develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.

Resolve material shortage, quality and delivery-related issues.

Maintain purchase records, vendor documentation and MIS reports.

Support cost-reduction and procurement improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

4+ years of purchase/procurement experience in manufacturing.

Heavy engineering/manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.

Knowledge of engineering materials and components.

Good MS Excel and ERP knowledge.

Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
