A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Real Estate Accounting, Controlling and Reporting Analyst, you will be at the center of Siemens Energy Real Estate Finance operations, supporting accounting, closing, controlling, and reporting activities across global Real Estate hubs. Your day will involve close collaboration with Country, Hub, and Central Finance organizations to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely month-end close activities, and effective financial controls.

You will oversee General Ledger postings, review financial data, analyze account balances, and prepare reporting packages that support strategic decision-making. Working in a global and collaborative environment, you will help drive process efficiency, maintain reporting accuracy, and contribute to Siemens Energy’s financial excellence across its Real Estate portfolio.

How You'll Make an Impact

• ----------------------------

Accounting \& Financial Close

• Perform General Ledger accounting activities and ensure accurate posting of financial transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries to accurately reflect business activities.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting guidelines, policies, and reporting standards.
• Review and reconcile key account balances to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Controlling \& Reporting

• Execute controlling and reporting activities for Siemens Energy Real Estate hubs.
• Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit \& Loss statements for submission into reporting systems.
• Deliver standard and ad-hoc financial reports in accordance with established timelines and reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial information and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance and identify areas for process improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration \& Business Support

• Collaborate closely with Country, Hub, and Central Finance teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Support Business Administrators and Finance stakeholders with local reporting requirements.
• Maintain effective communication across the broader Siemens Energy Real Estate organization.
• Assist in financial projects, process transitions, and transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of reporting processes and financial controls.

What You Bring

• -----------------
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, Financial Reporting, or Controlling.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial close activities, and reporting processes.
• Experience working with SAP and financial systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively within global and virtual teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and professional fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualification.
• 2–3 years of post-qualification professional experience.
• Experience in Real Estate Finance and Accounting.
• Exposure to transition, transformation, or process improvement projects.
