Role \& Responsibilities

Accountant – Job Description

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records using Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
• Prepare and manage books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers
• Prepare financial statements (Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and monitor cash \& bank transactions
• Maintain accounts payable \& receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Use Advanced Excel for MIS reports, data analysis, reconciliation, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and dashboards.
• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records as per statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments when required.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and TDS
• Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel
• Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance
• At least one year experience in CA Firm.
