Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Job description

Clean hotel rooms to required standards and by required deadlines

Complete regular cleaning routines

Change bed linen and towels

Make beds

Dusting and polishing furniture

Clean bathrooms

Replace stock of guest supplies

Restock equipment and mini bar

Ensure the delivery of clean linen to designated areas in the hotel along with the collection of soiled linen

Check linen cupboards on a regular basis and ensure they are maintained in a tidy, organized manner and fully stocked

Keep the service areas clean and tidy

Return damaged linen, ensuring it is accounted for by following required procedure

Pushing and pulling of linen trolleys throughout the hotel

Clean designated public areas of the hotel to required standards and by required deadlines

Complete regular cleaning routines

Replace stock of supplies and equipment

Report anything which may be considered a Health and Safety hazard
