About the Role
3Wheels.AI is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Engineer with knowledge of computer-aided design and hands-on experience with SolidWorks. Freshers with relevant CAD skills and a strong willingness to learn are welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and CAD design principles.
Key Responsibilities
Create, modify, and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
Develop accurate engineering designs based on technical requirements.
Work with 3D modelling, assemblies, and part design.
Interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and design specifications.
Review CAD models for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Identify and correct design errors or modelling inconsistencies.
Maintain proper documentation and organize CAD files.
Collaborate with the team on design-related tasks and project requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of SolidWorks is preferred.
Understanding of 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with dimensions, tolerances, assemblies, and technical specifications.
Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
Freshers with relevant CAD knowledge and practical project experience are encouraged to apply.
Good to Have
Experience with SolidWorks Part Design, Assembly Design, and Drawing modules.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software.
Understanding of GD&T and engineering standards.
Academic projects, internships, or a portfolio demonstrating CAD skills.
