Job Description: Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Company
Job Title: Senior Accountant
Department: Finance & Accounts

Experience Required: 1-5 Years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com; CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred
Reporting To: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting, including sales, purchases, expenses, and ledger entries.

Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances.

Manage accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and vendor payments.

Maintain inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and raw material/finished goods records.

Handle manufacturing cost accounting and expense monitoring.

Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS, and Profit & Loss statements.

Coordinate with auditors and manage audit documentation.

Ensure accurate accounting records and timely financial closing.

Required Skills

5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.

Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.

Experience in inventory management and cost accounting.

Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
