Electrician

Job Summary Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and fixtures to ensure safe and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and distribution boards. Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Inspect electrical systems, cables, circuit breakers, motors, and panels. Ensure proper earthing, insulation, and electrical safety. Follow electrical safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements. Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repairs. Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable electrical standards.
