Qualification - Diploma in instrumentation
Responsible for decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage and distribution of medical and surgical supplies and equipment used in the care and treatment of patients.
To collect, receive, sort, test, sterilize and pack contaminated instruments, containers, treatment trays and other supplies and equipment that have been used in the operation theatre, ICU, wards, emergency (casualty) room and prioritize sterilization depending on emergency requisitions.
Technical skills required for using and maintaining the various sterilization equipment and the computer.
