Job Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with gynaecological and obstetric conditions.

Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to pregnant women.

Monitor pregnancy progress and identify high-risk pregnancies.

Conduct normal deliveries and perform Caesarean sections and other obstetric or gynaecological procedures, as per qualifications, privileges, and hospital protocols.

Diagnose and manage menstrual disorders, infertility, PCOS, fibroids, menopause-related conditions, and other reproductive health issues.

Perform routine gynaecological examinations, cervical cancer screening, and preventive health assessments.

Provide family planning counselling, contraception advice, and reproductive health education.

Order and interpret laboratory tests, ultrasound reports, and other diagnostic investigations within the scope of practice.

Handle obstetric and gynaecological emergencies and arrange appropriate referrals when required.

Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, prescriptions, consent forms, and discharge summaries.

Follow hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, medical ethics, and patient confidentiality requirements.

Coordinate with nurses, paediatricians, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and patient education programmes.

Ensure compliance with applicable medical regulations and hospital standards.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
