NBFC Compliance Executive

Job description: WE ARE HIRING | Compliance Executive / Compliance Manager Company: Sawalsha Leasing and Finance Pvt Ltd Industry: NBFC / Financial Services Location: Gurugram, Haryana Department: Compliance Key Responsibilities 1. Ensure compliance with applicable RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, and other statutory and regulatory requirements. 2. Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely implementation of changes in internal policies, procedures, and compliance practices. 3. Manage regulatory filings, returns, and submissions to RBI and other relevant authorities within prescribed timelines. 4. Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, customer due diligence, and applicable customer protection requirements. 5. Maintain statutory records, compliance registers, regulatory documents, and other compliance-related records. 6. Coordinate and assist in internal audits, statutory audits, regulatory inspections, and timely closure of audit observations. 7. Review and update internal compliance policies, SOPs, and compliance manuals in line with applicable regulatory requirements. 8. Monitor compliance with fair practices, lending regulations, and applicable customer protection guidelines. 9. Prepare compliance reports, MIS, and regulatory updates for senior management, and support Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and resolutions, wherever applicable. 10. Identify compliance risks, coordinate with internal departments and external auditors, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen the organisation's compliance framework. Required Qualifications & Skills 1. Graduate or postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Law, or a related field, with relevant experience in compliance within an NBFC, banking, fintech, or financial services organisation. 2. Good understanding of RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, KYC, AML, customer due diligence, and statutory compliance requirements. 3. Knowledge of regulatory reporting, compliance documentation, audit procedures, internal policies, and applicable lending regulations. 4. Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and documentation skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and preparation of compliance reports. 5. Preferred: Candidates with hands-on NBFC compliance experience and a strong understanding of RBI regulatory requirements.
