International Business Development Officer - Softgel Contract Manufacturing

We are hiring: Business Development Officer – Softgel Contract ManufacturingMedgel Private Limited is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Officer to support customer acquisition, prospect outreach and opportunity progression across pharmaceutical, OTC, nutraceutical, food and dietary supplement markets.This is not a routine telecalling or administrative role. We are looking for someone who can research relevant accounts, initiate professional conversations, follow up consistently, understand customer requirements and help move qualified opportunities towards the next commercial and technical step.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop prospects across domestic and international markets.
• Identify pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, supplement, private-label and contract-manufacturing customers
• Build relationships with founders, business heads, procurement, sourcing, product teams, importers and distributors.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Market like - USFDA, PICs, UAE, Australia, etc.
• Qualify customer enquiries and capture product, market, volume, packaging, documentation and timeline requirements.
• Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline and follow-up records.
• Coordinate with R\&D, Technical, Quality, Regulatory, Production, Packaging and Finance teams.
• Support RFQs, quotations, customer presentations and opportunity progression.
• Maintain a working understanding of regulatory-market requirements, including relevant regulatory expectations, market-entry requirements and documentation needs across target markets.
• Track market developments, competitor activity, exhibitions and customer feedback.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, inside sales, customer coordination or a related B2B role.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, supplements, contract manufacturing, healthcare, ingredients or packaging is preferred.
• Exposure to export enquiries, international customers or distributor relationships will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of regulatory-market requirements and the ability to identify when technical or regulatory input is required.
• Strong English communication, email-writing and presentation skills.Good CRM, Excel / Google Sheets and follow-up discipline.
• A proactive person who takes ownership while escalating pricing, regulatory, technical and delivery matters appropriately.

• Travel: Domestic travel as required
