Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Maintain and repair industrial ovens, conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems.
• Handle maintenance of powder coating plant machinery, including the pretreatment line (PT), powder coating line (PC), and related equipment.
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in machines and production equipment.
• Maintain conveyor belts, chains, rollers, alignment, and speed-control systems.
• Inspect oven heating systems, temperature controllers, burners, blowers, and exhaust systems.
• Identify machine breakdowns and take corrective action to minimize production downtime.
• Carry out lubrication, tightening, alignment, and replacement of worn-out parts.
• Coordinate with production supervisors to ensure smooth machine operation and timely maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance checklists.
• Monitor spare parts requirements and coordinate with the Store Department for availability.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices during maintenance.
• Support installation, commissioning, and improvement of machinery and equipment.
• Report major breakdowns, recurring faults, and maintenance requirements to management.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing plant maintenance.
• Practical knowledge of oven maintenance, conveyor systems, motors, gearboxes, and industrial machinery.
• Troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to work in coordination with production and other departments.

Pay

₹20,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
