Job Description

Riomara Kochi Luxury Boutique Hotel is looking for an experienced, motivated, and people-oriented HR Manager to oversee all human resources functions and support our commitment to exceptional hospitality and guest service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, recruitment, and employee management skills, preferably with experience in the hotel or hospitality industry. Key Responsibilities Manage the complete recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company standards and applicable labour laws. Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, and personnel documentation. Coordinate payroll processing, employee benefits, and statutory compliance with the relevant departments. Manage employee relations, address workplace concerns, and promote a positive working environment. Plan and coordinate employee training, development, and performance evaluations. Ensure adequate staffing across hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and Administration. Monitor employee discipline, grooming standards, attendance, and workplace conduct. Support workforce planning, employee engagement, and staff retention initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, workplace safety requirements, and hotel policies. Prepare HR reports and provide regular updates to hotel management. Foster a professional, service-oriented culture aligned with luxury hospitality standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in an HR Manager or similar HR leadership role. Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred. Good knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and labour law compliance. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential employee information professionally. Proficiency in MS Office and HR documentation. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
