Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Machine Shop In-Charge to manage daily machine shop operations, supervise operators, ensure production quality, and achieve production targets. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of conventional and CNC machining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily machine shop activities and production schedules.
• Handle and supervise Lathe, DRO, Milling, CNC and Boring Machine operations.
• Allocate jobs to machine operators and monitor production progress.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, quality standards and timely completion of jobs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Monitor machine maintenance and minimize machine downtime.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Planning departments.
• Maintain production records and ensure workplace safety.

Required Skills \& Criteria

• BE Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in a machine shop or manufacturing industry.
• Practical knowledge of Lathe, DRO, Milling, CNC and Boring Machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand machining tolerances.
• Experience in machine shop supervision, manpower handling and production planning.
• Knowledge of machining quality inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Salary \& Benefits

• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
