E-commerce Operations Executive – Packaging & Dispatch

We are looking for an E-commerce Executive to manage day-to-day e-commerce operations across online sales channels. The role will involve managing orders, inventory, product listings, order fulfilment, dispatch, returns and coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

Monitor and process daily orders received through the brand's website and other online marketplaces.

Ensure orders are processed accurately and within the required timelines.

Coordinate with the warehouse team for order fulfilment.

Track pending, cancelled, failed and undelivered orders.

Inventory Management

Monitor online and physical inventory levels.

Coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain accurate stock availability.

Identify low-stock and out-of-stock products and communicate the same to the concerned team.

Coordinate inventory updates across relevant e-commerce platforms.

Product Catalogue & Website Management

Manage and update product listings across the website and marketplaces.

Update product names, descriptions, images, pricing, SKUs and other product information.

Ensure product information is accurate and up to date.

Coordinate with the content/creative team whenever updates to product content or creatives are required.

Packaging & Dispatch Coordination

Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure orders are packed and dispatched on time.

Coordinate the availability of shipping cartons, corrugated boxes, courier bags and other dispatch packaging materials.

Coordinate with packaging vendors whenever additional packaging material is required.

Monitor dispatch status and coordinate with courier/logistics partners.

Ensure orders are handed over to the logistics partner within the required timelines.

Returns, RTO & Replacements

Track customer returns, RTOs and replacement orders.

Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for returned shipments.

Ensure replacement and re-dispatch orders are processed on time.

Maintain records of returns and RTOs.

Marketplace & E-commerce Operations

Manage day-to-day operations across the brand's website and relevant marketplaces.

Monitor order-related issues, listing issues and operational alerts.

Coordinate with marketplace/logistics support teams whenever required.

Ensure smooth functioning of the overall order-to-delivery process.

Reporting & Coordination

Prepare and maintain daily/weekly reports related to orders, sales, inventory, dispatches, returns and RTOs.

Maintain operational data in Excel/Google Sheets.

Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, customer support, accounts and other internal teams as required.

Identify operational issues and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, D2C, marketplace or online retail.

Experience with e-commerce platforms/marketplaces such as Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa or similar platforms will be preferred.

Good understanding of order processing, inventory, fulfilment, dispatch and returns.

Basic to good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong follow-up and organisational abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet operational deadlines.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred

Experience with a beauty, cosmetics, skincare, personal care or FMCG brand.

Familiarity with Shopify or other D2C platforms.

Experience coordinating with warehouses, courier partners and packaging vendors.
