Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Cafe Server to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.

Present menus and explain food and beverage items when required.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen/bar team.

Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.

Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service.

Check on guests regularly and attend to their requests or concerns.

Handle guest queries and coordinate with the supervisor or manager when required.

Maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness standards across the service area.

Assist with table clearing, resetting, and overall cafe upkeep.

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and service standards.

Coordinate with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth service.

Handle billing/payment processes when assigned.

Upsell menu items and suggest beverages or food items where appropriate.

Ensure guest satisfaction and report any complaints or issues to the supervisor.

Follow company policies, attendance requirements, and grooming standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.

Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Customer-oriented and polite personality.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good teamwork and coordination skills.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.

Flexible to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Well-groomed and professional appearance.
