About the Role

CAIR Actuators & Valves is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop business for industrial valves, electric actuators, motorized valves and related flow-control and automation products.

The role involves identifying potential customers, understanding technical requirements, preparing quotations, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and following opportunities through to order completion.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial and engineering markets.

Visit customers, consultants, OEMs, EPC companies and industrial project sites as required.

Understand customer applications and recommend suitable products and solutions.

Prepare and follow up on enquiries, quotations and commercial proposals.

Coordinate with the technical and execution teams for product selection and technical clarifications.

Maintain regular communication with existing customers and develop new customer relationships.

Track enquiries from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and order.

Follow up for purchase orders and payment-related requirements when required.

Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, quotations and sales activities.

Achieve assigned sales and business-development objectives.

Travel within the assigned territory as required.

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Candidates with relevant industrial technical-sales experience may also be considered.

1–4 years of experience in industrial sales, technical sales, valves, actuators, automation or related engineering products is preferred.

Basic understanding of industrial products and technical specifications.

Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Ability to prepare quotations and understand basic commercial terms.

Willingness to travel for customer visits.

Basic computer skills, including MS Office / email.

Compensation

₹15,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant experience, plus applicable incentives.
