Job Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of technical materials, equipment, and engineering components.
- Identify and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and material requirements.
- Prepare RFQs and collect quotations from suppliers.
- Compare quotations based on price, quality, specifications, and delivery time.
- Negotiate with vendors for pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and stores teams.
- Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Evaluate and maintain supplier/vendor information.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Understanding of engineering materials and technical specifications.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
- Problem-solving and time-management skills.
Qualification
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP will be an advantage.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge can apply.
- Pay
- ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
