Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely availability of materials as per company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.

Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers and vendors.

Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.

Prepare and release purchase orders as per approved requirements.

Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and other departments for material requirements.

Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and supplier documents.

Monitor material prices and support cost-reduction initiatives.

Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and specifications.

Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, quantity, and documentation with suppliers.

Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and new suppliers.

Assist in maintaining supplier performance and procurement reports.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.

Good follow-up and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple requirements.

Qualification

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Commerce, or a related field.

Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Pay

₹10,889.79 - ₹37,185.18 per month
