Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Indian Cook who can prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and food quality.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes as per menu and requirements.

Cook North Indian, South Indian and traditional Indian cuisine.

Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and special meals.

Ensure consistent taste, quality and presentation of food.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking equipment.

Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before cooking.

Manage proper storage of food items and ingredients.

Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.

Follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth daily operations.

Maintain cleanliness of cooking utensils, workstations and kitchen areas.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.

Ability to prepare food according to customer/family requirements.

Good understanding of spices, ingredients, and portion control.

Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.

Ability to work independently and manage kitchen responsibilities.

Good time management and discipline.

Candidate Requirements

Prior experience as an Indian Cook is preferred.

Candidates with experience in households, hotels, restaurants, resorts or institutions can apply.

Must be hardworking, reliable and well-mannered.

Ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and skill

Food and accommodation may be provided depending on the job location.
