Business Development Manager - safety & security

Roles and Responsibilities

Generate leads through direct prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, online research, partnerships and other relevant channels.

Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently work towards achieving business development targets.

Work closely with technical teams to understand solution feasibility and prepare suitable proposals.

Own the business development cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation and closure.

Prepare and coordinate quotations, proposals, presentations and customer-facing documents.

Track industry trends, customer requirements, competitor activity and emerging opportunities in safety and connected infrastructure.

Build, mentor and manage the business development team, including hiring, training, target setting and performance management.

Requirements

5–10 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales or Solution Sales, preferably in safety, security, IoT, electrical, automation, infrastructure, facility management or a related industry.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline; MBA/PG qualification will be an advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently, take ownership and operate in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits and business development activities as required.
