Clinical Psychologist
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and therapeutic interventions for patients with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. The role includes working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care in accordance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
Qualification
M.A./M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification as recognized/accepted under applicable RCI regulations
Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory
1–3 years of experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred (freshers may also apply)
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessment and clinical interviews.
Perform psychological testing and prepare assessment reports.
Provide individual and family counselling/psychological interventions.
Support patients with anxiety, depression, behavioural, emotional and adjustment-related concerns.
Work with psychiatrists, physicians and other healthcare professionals as part of the multidisciplinary team.
Maintain confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
Provide psychological support to patients and caregivers.
Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings.
Conduct awareness and mental-health programmes where required.
Follow hospital policies, ethical standards and applicable RCI requirements.
