Pharmacist

Verify prescriptions, dosage, and medication details.

Explain dosage, administration, and precautions to patients when required.

Maintain proper records of medicines issued and received.

Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.

Follow proper procedures for controlled and high-alert medicines.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related issues.

Ensure medicines are stored according to recommended temperature and safety standards.

Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization.

Follow hospital policies, NABH standards, and applicable pharmacy regulations.

Report medication errors, shortages, and adverse drug reactions to the appropriate authority.

Assist in inventory management and periodic stock verification.
