Customer Service

• Greet every customer with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
• Help customers choose cakes, pastries, breads, and other items.
• Share information about ingredients, flavors, and daily specials.
• Handle customer feedback or complaints politely and find quick solutions. \[1, 2]

Sales \& Orders

• Meet daily and monthly store sales goals.
• Suggest add-on items, drinks, or premium products to boost sales (upselling).
• Take custom cake or bulk party orders accurately.
• Coordinate customer orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.

Billing \& Cash Handling

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system or cash register.
• Accept cash, credit cards, and digital UPI payments securely.
• Balance the cash drawer at opening and closing.
• Keep accurate daily sales records. \[1, 2, 3]

Store Display \& Stock

• Arrange breads and pastries neatly in display cases.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate older stock using FIFO (First In, First Out—using older items first).
• Restock shelves and display counters throughout the day.
• Report low stock or damaged goods to management.

Hygiene \& Cleanliness

• Keep counters, display windows, and customer areas clean and tidy.
• Follow local food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Wear the required uniform and maintain a neat personal appearance
