JOB DESCRIPTION – PURCHASE EXECUTIVE

Company: Centric Steel Ltd.
Location: Khar (W), Mumbai
Experience: 3–4 Years
Position: Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.

Handle purchase activities for steel mill/industrial requirements.

Source and negotiate with vendors for materials, consumables, spares and other requirements.

Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain purchase records.

Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate commercial terms.

Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and quality of materials.

Coordinate with Stores, Production, Maintenance, Accounts and other departments.

Follow up on pending orders, invoices and payments.

Maintain vendor database and develop new vendors as required.

Ensure purchases are made as per company requirements and approved budgets.

Eligibility

3–4 years of relevant purchase/procurement experience.

Candidates with experience in Steel Mills/Steel Industry preferred.

Experience in HR Coil, CR Coil, GP Coil or related steel product divisions is a must.

Good negotiation, communication and vendor-management skills.

Candidates from Mumbai location preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
