Social Media Marketing Intern

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team and help us create engaging, relatable, and high-performing content for our social media platforms.

This is a full-time, work-from-office internship where you will work closely with the content and marketing team and get hands-on experience in social media marketing, Reels, content creation, trend research, storytelling, and brand building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in planning and executing content for Instagram and other social media platforms.
• Research trending Reels, memes, audios, formats, hooks, and content ideas.
• Develop creative and relatable content ideas for pet parents.
• Assist in writing Reel scripts, hooks, captions, CTAs, and social media copy.
• Participate in video shoots, product shoots, and content creation.
• Assist with shooting and creating Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
• Help maintain and execute the social media content calendar.
• Identify trending topics and find ways to creatively adapt them for the brand.
• Assist with influencer collaborations, UGC, and creator content.
• Monitor comments, DMs, and audience interactions when required.
• Track basic social media metrics such as reach, views, engagement, shares, and saves.
• Analyze content performance and suggest new ideas based on what works.
• Collaborate with the design, marketing, and content team on campaigns and launches.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends and platform updates.

SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Graduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Strong interest in Instagram, Reels, digital media, and content creation.
• Creative thinker who can generate fresh and engaging content ideas.
• Good understanding of social media trends and internet culture.
• Comfortable participating in video shoots and working around a camera.
• Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, VN, or similar editing tools is a plus.
• Good storytelling ability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Proactive attitude — someone who doesn't wait to be told what content to create.
• Pet lover / pet parent is a plus.
