About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious New Product Development (NPD) Engineer (Junior level) or Intern to join our product development team. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career engineers to learn how a product goes from concept to commercial launch. You will work with design, manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams, with hands-on mentorship from senior engineers.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead or support end-to-end product development cycles including concept generation, feasibility studies, design validation, and production launch.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Supply Chain) to define product requirements and ensure manufacturability.

Create and manage technical documentation including design specifications, DFMEAs, BOMs, test plans, and engineering change requests.

Develop and validate prototypes and first articles using rapid prototyping, CAD, and CAE tools.

Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.

Support root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for design or production-related issues.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource planning in alignment with the NPD roadmap.

Liaise with suppliers and vendors during the development of components and tooling.

Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal quality processes.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree (or final-year student, for the internship) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Product Design or a related engineering field.

0-2 years of experience in NPD, product design or manufacturing. Internships, academic projects and prototype builds count.

Working knowledge of a 3D CAD tool such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360 or CATIA.

Basic understanding of DFM/DFA, GD&T and tolerance stack-up.

Exposure to prototyping methods such as 3D printing, CNC or fabrication, and to basic materials selection and testing.

Good documentation, communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and take ownership.

Awareness of quality standards such as ISO 9001, and of safety or compliance requirements for products (CE, toy safety), is a plus.
